Mastersaddler Frank Peter sat before the Society of Mastersaddlers examining body in England and receive his qualification.

Upon the recommendation of some english and german saddlery, he was proud to receive the offer from the Society of Mastersaddlers, as the first german mastersaddler, to take an exam in Warwick / England.

To become a member in the Society of Mastersaddlers, he must pass the exam of a saddle fitter course in english language.

In August 2007 Frank Peter looks forward to  his trip to England, to learn more about saddle fitting from english mastersaddlers. This course was booked by a lot of international participants. They are located in USA, Canada, Southafrica, Scottland, United Kingdom and Denmark. All of them have a long working experience as saddler or saddle fitter.

The instruction was divided in 10 theoretic and 5 practical parts, with a 1 1/2 day examination. Important to know everything about the horses condition, muscles, ligaments and bones as well as evaluation of the horse with the rider by hand and in movement.

The Society of Mastersaddlers is proud to have a very high standard in fitting a saddle by a 15- point- system and apraise the fitted saddle by a 7- point- system.
